WELL, HELLO!

My name is Emily! I'm a Spokane-based commercial, family and portrait photographer smitten with telling true stories. I'm a connector, vision-caster, creator, cheerleader, director, but most importantly--a helper! I love to help my clients render their stories and passions in imagery we can all FEEL. I'm drawn to the fine lines and quirky juxtapositions of life. Always down for a pop of color!

I've been shooting for a decade now. My style of shooting is organic, happy, positive, and easy-going. With a background in writing and an MFA in creative nonfiction, making photographic sets has always felt like writing visual vignettes and stand alone picture-poems. I love to follow the thread of a session wherever it wants to go!

My current obsession is studio portraiture and branding in the new ESP studio space.

I’m lucky in love with my husband Tommy whom I’ve known since childhood and who, when we were dating, gave me a bouquet of asparagus instead of flowers and then cooked it for dinner. We love doing life alongside each other. We have three amazing kids who give us more love and joy than we could ever deserve! We dream of biking the Great American Rail-Trail as a family someday.
