2022 in Review
Ah! It’s here—the end of another beautiful four seasons in the PNW! Photography here is really great like that: you have summer with warm, glowy light and long daylight hours, fall with soft brown tones and falling leaves, winter for shooting among the evergreens flocked in white or inside warm homes, and spring for chasing wildflowers in the mountains! We get a little of everything and that is something I don’t ever want to take for granted. On a personal note, I want to thank each of you for the patience you showed me this year. Adding our third baby this year meant I was in a season of learning!!! Always finding the balance between this job I love and family time that I adore! So much gratitude that I am able to do both, and I hope I can serve you this next year with even more care and attention.
This year I am taking July and August off from shooting weddings to spend adventuring with Tommy and the kids. That is typically the busiest time for wedding photographers, but it’s also the BEST family time in the NW! By taking those months off from weddings, I’ll be able to take on more full family story sessions during the week days of those months—so reach out if you’d like to plan ahead for something like that!
And finally, here it is: my favorite blog post of the year (and often my only one! Haha!) 2022 in Review—a few photos from every session I shot this year. Enjoy your family this holiday. Tell them you love them. Hug them longer! And take a selfie with them after Christmas dinner. <3 Merry Christmas! And thank you for the privilege of shooting these moments …
